9 years!

We celebrated 9 years of marriage this month. I can't believe how time flies! Such happy times - and many more to come. I love you babe!! Feel so blessed to be your wifey!

Trevs turned 1?! How did that happen??

Trevor had a Mickey Mouse birthday to celebrate the big #1. It was lots of fun and he seemed to enjoy himself thoroughly. He just kept looking around at everyone like "what is everyone doing here, and why are they all staring at me?" He is such a chill little guy - we are grateful that he was born!
Here's me and my little Trevor sporting his Mickey ears handmade by mommy. His cake turned out fun and was definitely easier than Carter's!

Here he is continuing the Hardman tradition of taking a bite out of your birthday cake. He was slow to get started in devouring his personal cake - but he didn't let us down..........

This has to be my favorite shot of the night. Gosh I love first birthdays! There is just nothing more enjoyable than seeing a little kid COVERED in cake. He has officially assumed his fat dog position here...

For your viewing pleasure....

My cute boys

So I just wanted to post some recent pics of my boys - they are just so dang cute I had to share!
Check out those dimples!

Cute little shot of them in my parent's yard.

Happy 3rd Birthday Carter!

Ok, so I was really excited about how the cake turned out - I basically made it all by myself - with a little help and advice from Grandma Hardman. Dave made the headboard out of rice crispy treats and chocolate and we made the little blocks out of rice crispy treats and white chocolate. Carter LOVED it! He was so excited when I brought it in for him to see. It made all the hours of work worth it! "It's My Toy Story Cake!" he said.

Here is the birthday boy about to blow out his candles. For the last month every day, several times a day he has been saying, "Mom, I wanna be three." Well the day finally arrived and it was a fun day. Carter had been sick all week - poor thing - but even though he wasn't feeling the greatest he still had a good time.

Present time - he got so many fun things from all his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins - thanks everyone for making the day so fun for him.

Here is a cute shot of my sweet moms. Don't know what I'd do without them. They help me keep my sanity and are always there when I need them. Love you both to pieces! My kids are the luckiest in the world. I wish every child had grandmas like you!

It was a fun day - but I was literally exhausted when it was all said and done! It took me a few days to recuperate! I love to plan my kids' birthdays - I just get so excited. I am already thinking about Trevs! It'll be here before I know it!

More Party Pics

If you're gonna have a party, you gotta get a pinata - we found this ginormous cowboy boot and the kids had fun whacking it. Dave thought it was only appropriate that we put some rubber snakes ('There's a snake in my boot") in there along with sheriff badges, little green army men, candy and such. The kids also had fun trying to pin the badges on Woody and Buzz

Me and my favorite friend Randi with our little guys. She and I both have boys 4 weeks apart - both ages. Love her to death.
The kids had some good time in the bouncy house. Thanks grandpa and grandma Hardman! Best Christmas present ever!! This thing has helped me keep my sanity - especially on snowy or rainy days.

We had to have Pizza Planet of course. Thanks Aunt Beccah for your amazing painting skills. You are a genius my dear!

Happy little Trevs

Fun Random Family Pics

So I thought I would post a few recent pics of our little family so you could see the cuteness of our little boys. They are so fun and we are enjoying their little personalities so much. Carter loves to sit in the bumbo whenever possible. I think he looks hilarious in it.

Funny brothers. Carter is always concerned where Trevor is at all times. "Where's Trebor John?" he always asks me. He likes to be with him all the time.

Here is a cute little messy face pic. Trev is lovin' the baby food. But he prefers orange colored food to green. He also LOVES crackers of any kind and does this funny little giggle in his throat whenever I hand him a cracker.

Carter wanted us all to take a picture together so this is my attempt at hold the camera and trying to get all of us in the shot.

I thought this was the sweetest pic of Dave and Trevor.

So a few sundays ago we got Carter all ready and he looked so adorable that I had to take some pics. He loves to where a tie to church "just like daddy" he says. Isn't he so handsome? I can't believe how grown up he is getting. He will turn 3 in May!

Cutest picture EVER!!! Don't ya think?

St. George Trip

We went to St. George over Valentine's Day with the Hardman fam and had such a great time. Here are the boys with Grandma Hardman.

We also had a fabulous chocolate fountain/fondue feast and Dave thought it would be funny to dip my nose in chocolate. I have to say that chocolate dipped rice crispies and nutter butter cookies are my favorites.

He was nice enough to clean it off for me! What a sweetheart!

Catchin' Up!

The handsome Hardman boys!
So I thought it would be a good idea to update everyone on what has been going on with the Hardman's since I kinda dropped out of the blogging world for a while there, so here are some long overdue pics of our sweet little Trevor John. He was born on August first in the wee hours of the morning. If I could describe him in one word it would be delightful. He is just delightful. We love him to pieces! Two kids is definitely a crazy adventure especially when they are boys - but I am loving and trying to keep up with every minute.

Carter affectionally calls him "Trebs" (he can't quite say his v's yet - which is adorable) and the name has stuck - we love our jolly little Trebs! Carter enjoys being the big brother but does have a tendancy to randomly whack him from time to time for no apparent reason. This doesn't seem to phase Trev for some reason he usually laughs and smiles at him - even though it ticks my off! Well here are some catch up pics and I will do another post soon with some recent stuff. Better late than never right?!

This is the sleepy eyed mommy at 4:35 am - I think I was pretty much delirious at this point but happy. Cute little Trevor - we still don't know what color his eyes are - they are like dark blueish brownish grayish. I have no idea what he will put on his future drivers license. They are dark and beautiful though.

Here he is right after he was born. Such a precious!

NO MORE SICKNESS!!

Ok, so some of you that check our blog regularly have probably been wondering if I fell off the face of the earth or something, but in fact I did not. I have just been dealing with pregnancy sickies as well as a sick husband, child, and then myself getting a cold lasting for almost 3 weeks! YUCK! I am sure a lot of you have been dealing with the same yucky stuff. I am happy to report that all of us in the Hardman house are feeling better and that so far since I am past the first trimester now - the pregnancy sickies are starting to ease up a bit too.
Stay tuned for more updates and photos coming soon......

Carter's Tree

We got Carter a cute little tree for his room. This is a cute little video of after we got it set up and plugged it in for the first time. His reaction is just so dang cute. Enjoy!

Gingerbread House Fun

Every year we get together with the Hardman Family and make Gingerbread houses. It is so much fun. This was Carter's first experience with this and he liked the candy a LOT. He didn't get the concept that you stick the candy on the house - and then you LEAVE it there. Every time we would help him put one on he would pull it off and eat it. It was hilarious. So we decided to start decorating him instead. :)

Here I am attempting to show my little son how it works and there he is shoving more candy in his mouth behind me. :)
Dave then attempted and we got him to stick a candy cane on top (after it had been sucked on of course)....did I mention how much he enjoyed the candy?

Now, my Dave is serious about his gingerbread houses. He has had some pretty impressive ones over the years. But this one I think topped the list. He worked forever on window shutters, doors, built on an entire chimney made out of candy rocks and even put our whole little gingerbread family inside with a christmas tree. Way to go babe. You are a genius!

Here is the backside of the finished product. Isn't the chimney so cool?

Not a Fan of the Jolly Man

Carter has sat on 2 Santa's laps so far this year and has hated every minute of it! I would try to prep him in line and say things like "Look there's Santa, he is so nice, look at his soft white beard, he wants you to sit on his lap and give him a hug" etc. etc. But every time I sat him on Santa's lap he would burst into tears. He was the ONLY child at our ward Christmas breakfast with Santa that cried on Santa's lap. But I think it is kind of hilarious to have these funny pictures to show him later in life though. How could anyone be afraid of such a jolly man? Maybe next year he'll do better......

St. George Trip

Last Week we took a little trip down to St. George to stay at our condo. It was so much fun, and I was thinking, yay! I want to go to somewhere warm! But alas, it was FREEZING there too! We had a good time anyway. Dave surprised us and took us to the Tuachan Theatre - they deck it out for Christmas, here we are on a little trolley ride trying to keep warm. Look how furry I am!!:)
They had a cool live Nativity on the Tuachan stage with real animals and everything. It was all set to music and narrated. Carter wouldn't sit through it unfortunately - so we only got to see part of it. But it was definitely cool.
Here is a shot of some of the lights. It was so beautiful and so different to see Christmas lights against red rock canyons.
Here is a little family shot off our back pation at the condo. They have a cool little pond out back and Carter loved the ducks, every morning when he woke up he would run to the window and yell "Quack Quack!" We had such a fun time going on a little trip together. Can't wait until we go again!

A Hunting We Did Go......

A couple weeks ago we went on the annual Hardman Family Tree Hunting adventure. We look forward to this every year. We go up past Evanston to the Mirror Lake area and stay at our brother in law Seth's families cabin and search for our trees. Here is our tree this year - I think it is perfect. I love the way it makes our house smell. Carter had to help Dave put it up. He was so excited!
This is Carter with his cousins Adam, Thayne, and Julianne. We take four wheelers on our search which makes it extra fun and a whole lot easier to bring trees down the mountain. The kids had a blast. They are so cute together. I love this cute picture of all of them bundled up ready to go.

Here is the Dave relaxing at the cabin - ummm.....that is 'Root' Beer right Dave? JK!

Carter loved the cabin and enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa and all his aunts and uncles and cousins. Thanks for such a fun time!!!

Dave Turns 30!

Dave turned the big 3-0 a couple weeks ago and I decided to throw a little surprise party for him - this is him being surprised after we opened the garage and it was full of friends and family. I had taken him out to dinner beforehand at Famous Dave's (a favorite of his) meanwhile everyone gathered at our house to surprise the birthday boy.

This is his AMAZING cake that his sister Min made. Dave's birthday always falls during the week of Thanksgiving and sometimes even on Thanksgiving and so we thought it would be fun to make a turkey cake. I can't believe how real it looked - but it was all cake and icing. Thanks Min! It turned out so great!
Dave got stuff to oraganize his garage along with this long awaited ladder - he was very excited and Carter kept climbing up it. :)

Here I am lighting the many candles for Dave to blow out. I found these really cool long skinney ones. I think they looked really cool.

Happy Birthday to Dave!! Can I just say how grateful I am every day that you were born to be ours!!! I couldn't ask for a better husband and father and best friend. WE LOVE YOU!!! (And just so you know, you don't look a day over 22).
